Terminology
The tribes and individuals of this roleplays universe have a variety of different terms they use. We've compiled a nice, ever-growing list to help ease any sort of confusion. Most terminology is made up to reference specific things, conditions of places in-universe.
Ground ZeroThis is what the main areas of the roleplay are referred to by both outsiders and those of the tribes. This encompasses the main bog-like area, the charred home of the Caedis and the tunnels of the Fidelis. It's called as such because it is the location where the Pandemonium Plague was originally created in the laboratory.
The GhostsA slang term used to describe the Fidelis Tribe and it's members. They're called as such for seeming stealthy and hiding their presence.
The ChasmWhat the main encampment of the Caedis Tribe is referred to due to it's location being in a large crater and canyons.
InfectedThis is typically what those who contract the Pandemonium Plague are called.
Infected-BornOne who has the Pandemonium Plague, not because they contracted it, but were born with it.
CycleThe standard term used for describing a year, a full cycle of seasons.
Spirit MaterialsItems that are seen as blessed by the Celestials and used in a variety of traditions and rituals for the tribes. These are often bits of bone, shells, pebbles and other nature materials.
CatacombsBeneath the Chasm is a set of tunnels where they bury those deemed of worth to the Caedis Tribe when they pass. It connects to the Subterranean Inferno through a small crack.
Fire of WhispersNear the outskirts of the Caedis territory is a special fire, tucked within the canyon. It's used specially for their ritual of burning deceased tribe-mates.
Celestial ChambersA sacred area for the FIdelis tribe, nestled deep within their labyrinth. It's a large chamber where they old various rituals for speaking to the Celestials and ancestors.

Plague LandsIt's used to describe the 'main lands' of Ground Zero that are outside of each tribe's camp, such as their territories and some outer lying areas.
The BeastsA slang term used to describe the Caedis Tribe and it's members. They're called as such due to the infection and general behavior they exhibit to outsiders.
The labyrinthThis is what the main encampment of the FIdelis Tribe is called due to the general maze-like structure of their tunnel system.
PureWhat someone is referred to when they don't have the Pandemonium Plague.
Pure BredAn Infected-Born who's parents are both infected creatures.
CelestialsCelestials are the ancestors and spiritual guides for all creatures, both infected and pure. They act as the main deities those of the Pandemonium Plague universe follow. You can learn more bout them here.
Subterranean InfernoA cavern deep below the Chasm that is seen as blessed. Named as such for the multitude of fires that are lit within it. Used for spiritual rituals for the Caedis.
MateA term used to describe an individual who is romantically involved with another. Though commonly exclusive, they don't have to be. It's not unheard of for individuals to have multiple mates and be polyamorous.
Shrines or AltarsThese are places both tribes have. They are deemed sacred and usually made up on stone slabs and rocks. It's here where they pray and ask for blessings from the Celestials.
Placid GroveA small valley with a grove of trees. It's mainly accessed by a crack in the wall from the Labyrinth; surrounded by cliffs and opens out to a bay. It's a special area for the Fidelis where they bury their fallen comrades.
